The Yemeni military announced on Monday that it will launch a broad set of strikes against Iran-backed Houthi targets in an attempt to retake lost territory. The Houthis launched an offensive in September, which killed hundreds of combatants on both sides, according to UN figures, and has since become the most active front in the wider Middle East war.
