Automation & AI Disclosure

Twice Daily Wire is assembled on a schedule by software. As of the date of this disclosure, an edition is produced approximately as follows:

• Public RSS and similar feeds from named publishers are requested;
• Items are parsed, HTML is stripped, and titles and descriptions supplied by the publisher are cleaned and truncated;
• Items whose titles or URLs indicate opinion, editorials, columns, video roundups, podcasts, consumer-advice formats, or a paywalled publisher are dropped by rule;
• Near-duplicate headlines are collapsed;
• A category is assigned by keyword and by the feed’s desk (United States, World, Science, Business, Health);
• Photographs and credits are taken from feed media tags or from the publisher’s publicly available page metadata when an item is selected for prominent display;
• The compiled edition is stored and served until the next 8:00 a.m. or 8:00 p.m. Central refresh, or until an operator invalidates it.

Summaries in the brief are the publisher’s own feed descriptions, not independently authored essays and not, as of this date, text generated by a large language model writing in our voice.

We do not claim that every article is human-written by Twice Daily Wire staff, because the underlying articles are written by the named sources. We do not claim that a human editor reads and approves each item before an edition is published. We do not claim that automation is inherently accurate. We do not use generative image models to fabricate news photographs. We do not presently use automated headline generation that invents a headline different from the source’s, nor automated transcription or translation of source articles.

Human operators choose the feeds, write skip rules, maintain these legal pages, and may withdraw an item or invalidate an edition. That is oversight of the system, not line-by-line fact-checking of each source article. If we later introduce generative drafting, machine translation of body text, or synthetic imagery, this disclosure will be updated before we represent otherwise, and material factual reporting so produced will be subject to human review if that is then the workflow.

Category labels can be wrong. Skip rules can miss an opinion piece or drop a news item. Photograph URLs can break. Credits can be incomplete. Timestamps follow the source, which can be wrong. Readers should open the original report. The Corrections Policy applies to errors in our presentation, including errors introduced by automation.

Others may not use the Service or its compilation to train, fine-tune, or evaluate a machine-learning system without the prior written consent of Twice Daily Wire and, where required, of the holders of rights in Third-Party Content. That prohibition is also in the Terms of Use and the Acceptable Use Policy.

Hosting, fonts, and publisher content-delivery networks are described in the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. We do not invent vendors we do not use. If we later add an analytics or security vendor, we will name it when we know it.
