Welsh public sector unlikely to meet net zero plans by 2030, say auditors

A spending watchdog has strongly criticised the lack of progress made by public sector organisations in tackling climate change.
Audit Wales says since a Welsh government "climate emergency" was declared in 2019 "decarbonisation" has become a lower priority for public bodies.
It says there are many examples of positive changes but the "collective ambition" for a "net zero" public sector in Wales by 2030 is unlikely to be met.
