French prosecutors seek two-year sentence for Rachida Dati in Renault graft case

The U.S. and Iran are expected to have separate talks with mediators on Monday or Tuesday, an official with knowledge of the negotiations told the Reuters news agency. With Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi in the U.S., as well as Qatari mediators, the talks are set to focus on an updated version of the 7-day proposal Iran gave to U.S. counterparts last week during the United Nations General Assembly, the official told Reuters.

The author Katie Kitamura, whose latest book has been nominated for both a Pulitzer and Booker Prize, has spoken to FRANCE 24 about her aim for the book to have been written by herself, but also with the reader alongside her. "Audition" tells the story of an acclaimed actress whose life is turned upside down when a charismatic young man tells her he is her son.
