Iran says indirect talks with U.S. on ceasefire proposal continue

Saudi Arabia has held talks with a senior Syrian military delegation on arrangements to transfer up to 10,000 Syrian fighters to take part in the war against Yemen's Houthi movement, according to a report by the Lebanese Hezbollah-owned Al-Akhbar newspaper, citing Yemeni intelligence sources.
The report claims Syrian military officials visited Saudi Arabia's southern regions of Najran and Asir to inspect sites prepared to receive the fighters, while discussions in Riyadh covered transport logistics, financing and military assignments.
