Iran's representative to the United Nations has condemned Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's address to the General Assembly, questioning why the Israeli leader was allowed to speak at the world body. "If the General Assembly banned the apartheid regime of South Africa from speaking at this Assembly in the 1970s, why should it today grant this privilege to this criminal?" said Nasser Asadi, Third Counsellor at Iran's Permanent Mission to the U.N., was quoted as saying Friday by Iran's state news agency IRNA .
